i have not yet resorted to sending emails to everyone i know, but i did send tribe invite requests for 'wef life' to anyone with a possible conceivable connection.
that brings up some musings for me, though. what role do you think tribe can play in wef? it would be a good forum for getting cc'ers involved... unless we get tons of folks on here, will it be worth it to start discussions?
it could be a good forum to post stuff for old weffies who live elsewhere, for sure. and i'd find it super-helpful to have postings here on deadlines and apps and such, so that i can easily send them on to interested folks in the bay area.
another question--
superwonderfunkers and wef life... two different functions, or redundant? not that i don't love that both of them exist. -

I'm so glad to see discussion on this topic.
I hope to get all of the KP'ers on tribe this year. It's the easiest way for me to mass e-mail people (Aside from asking Allen). This way I can associate names and faces easier too. I own a digital camera so I plan to take pictures of each one of my KP'ers and weffies if they want and help them get set up with tribe.
As far as Superwonderfunk vs. Weflife, I think they can go ahead and be redundant... I was thinking of changing superwonderfunk to Karma Patrol... but it just doesn't have the same ring.
Open for sudggestions..

Wed, December 7, 2005 - 11:27 PMi think you've answered your own question about the role of tribe in wef! i love the idea that old weffies can touch this base (bass?) and hear about the musings of today's staff. i think there could be some interesting input from other folks who aren't around, but are now connected.
i'm sure there will be much more stuff that will go on. that's for sure.
i kinda feel like the two tribes are same same but different.
